New Energy Equity exceeds goal in donation to Folds of Honor scholarships

Annapolis, MD, Jan. 26, 2023New Energy Equity, a national developer of community and commercial solar projects, has donated $52,587 to Folds of Honor.

Each year, New Energy’s Lift As We Climb Foundation contributes to nonprofits dedicated to the company’s core purpose of leaving behind a better world. Last fall, the foundation hosted a golf tournament with the goal of raising $50,000 for Folds of Honor, a national organization that provides scholarships to the spouses and children of military members and first responders who have fallen or been disabled while serving.

In addition to helping the dependents of American service members pursue their educational dreams, Folds of Honor also provides scholarships to the dependents of first responders.

Folds of Honor is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of military members who have fallen or been disabled while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Beginning in 2022, it expanded its mission to include first responders.
