Salem Lutheran Church

Salem Lutheran Church

New Energy Equity installed this 19.7 kW Photovoltaic solar electric energy system in Stillwater, Minnesota to offset the electricity load of Salem Lutheran Church.

The panels will produce roughly 23,000 kWh per year, enough to power two average Minnesota homes. Over 30 years the solar panel system will offset nearly 580 metric tons of CO2, the equivalent of adding over 600 acres of trees to our forests.

The system is highly flexible, allowing installs around HVAC units, so space is not wasted. NEE expects at least 30-40 years of useful life out of the system.
