Coloplast

Coloplast

New Energy Equity installed this 221 kW solar array in Minneapolis, MN to offset the electricity load of Coloplast's facility. The panels will produce roughly 263,000 kWh per year, offsetting 114 metric tons of Carbon Dioxide. This is equivalent to adding 136 acres of new forest.

For over 60 years, Coloplast has been improving the lives of people with intimate healthcare needs. They are built on their ability to listen to users’ needs – and respond with solutions that make their lives easier. The company has made sustainability an integral part of their 2025 corporate strategy, Strive25, and have set an ambition to support the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement’s goal to limit global temperature rise. This rooftop solar array will help them achieve those goals.

As a part of our partnership with American Forests, NEE will assist in the planting of 221 trees, one for each kW of solar included in this project.
