Utepils Brewing Rooftop Solar

New Energy Equity (previously Impact Power Solutions) installed this 80.7 kW solar array nestled on the banks of Bassett Creek between the Harrison & Bryn Mawr neighborhoods of northwestern Minneapolis to offset the electricity load of Utepils Brewing.

The panels will produce roughly 96,000 kWh per year, enough to power 8 average Minnesota homes. Over 30 years the solar panel system will offset nearly 2,200 tons of CO2, the equivalent of adding over 2,400 acres of trees to our forests.

Utepils Brewing first served its delicious beer to the public on February 1, 2017. They strive to offer their guests the opportunity to taste great European Style beer made fresh locally.
