Brookside RIDG Project
National Grid runs a renewable program in Rhode Island that encourages solar projects to be built around the state, providing utility energy for local users instead of importing fossil fuel-based electricity from large energy plants. The utility pays the system owner for each kilowatt that’s produced from the sun’s energy, helping the environment in the process.
